History L´Hospitalet - City of Basketball

L'Hospitalet is a city of basketball, a lot of basketball. Since 1929 clubs like the Centre Catòlic and the CB L'Hospitalet work and compete every season in our city. For this reason, it is a great pride to organize a big sporting event that counts with the participation of top national and international teams being considered the most prestigious basketball tournament in the U18 category in Europe. And we do it together.

The City Council is fully involved in the organization making this tournament one of the most important events of L'Hospitalet, not only in sports.

The tournament has counted on the collaboration of Euroleague Basketball in the last 12 editions. The organization of the most important basketball competition in Europe saw in our tournament an ideal platform to promote the values associated with basketball such as respect, fair play, sacrifice, team work and commitment to training young players. Now a new stage opens with new challenges for our tournament.
